Maldon Versus Honiton Slide Battle 

This annual battle began when a former Maldon Club member moved to Devon and thought it would be a good way of maintaining 
contact with his former club and to promote photography in a relaxed way by holding a competition between two clubs from very different areas of the country.

Hopefully it will continue in its present format of slides, despite the  downturn in film based images being produced across clubs. Transparencies and film in general is a worthwhile medium to be encouraged as it can produce fine images. However, this may not be possible, but its a popular event at both ends, so is likely to continue in one format or another.
